Far

Today Far, Regina Spektor's latest studio album, was released in the U.S. I purchased it a little after 12 a.m. from iTunes with a couple of bonus tracks; including Man of a Thousand Faces, and Time is all Around.

I love the album. It's very heartfelt and has a lot of good messages in it. I'm glad to see that Regina just recently beat out Lady Gaga on iTunes' top album charts, and she's steadily climbing the charts today.

If you haven't heard it yet, you definitely should.

Stereogum got their hands on the studio version of Regina Spektor's Blue Lips. It's a distant relative from the original piano driven tune, but it's still amazing. The ending still gets me every time.

Here is the first single off Regina Spektor's soon to be released album, Far. The song is called Laughing With and it's damn good. Reminds me of the old school Regina I fell in love with back in 2004.

The net is abuzz with the news of Regina Spektor's new album title and release date.

Far is expected to hit shelves in June, and we at RSO are extremely excited. Pitchfork magazine interviews Ms. Spektor and asks her how it is to work with greats in producing her new album.
